Recently, I had the overwhelming task of selling my mother’s older home. I chose ReMax by reputation, and it was there I met Josie Morrison.
I was initially impressed with Josie’s knowledge as a real estate agent when she went through the house and assessed the situation with a keen awareness of just what changes needed to take place to bring the house to market. Much work needed to be done, such as cleaning out the garage, removal of paneling on the basement walls and taking up the basement carpeting. Josie suggested moving some furniture to the garage and rearranging the rest. The outside needed to be rid of overgrown hedges to open up the front entryway. Josie was right there through it all, helping each step of the way.
When the house went on the market, there was a potential customer within one week! However, for various reasons, he decided not to buy the property. The second potential buyer was a couple whose main residence was in another state. They were very eager to move in right away, but an inspection resulted in finding some structural damage to a section of the house. Also, we found out that Mom’s house was no longer unincorporated, but had been annexed into the village years ago, brining up new obstacles. Josie knew what to do every step of the way. The house was bought by the couple, and they are thrilled with their new purchase.
If you want a real estate agent who is diligent, professional, and willing roll up her sleeves in an attempt to present your property in the best imaginable way, then Josie is the right choice. I highly recommend Josie in any real estate venture.
